As Palmeiras são um espetáculo a parte... imponentes, vistosas, enfim... ao meu ver, se bem empregadas funcionam também como uma grande obra de arte em pleno jardim...
Uma das Palmeiras que mais me chama a atenção é a Bismarckia nobilis, de nome comum Palmeira Azul/Palmeira Bismarckia...
O nome Bismarckia é dado em homenagem ao Chanceler alemão Otto Von Bismarck e Nobilis significa Nobre...com certeza justificando tamanha realeza que emana e impera!
Apesar de dispensar qualquer qualificação, fica difícil não enaltecê-las. O plantio isolado ou em conjunto apresenta grande efeito paisagístico.
Quando olho para um exemplar logo lembro o Jardim do Inhotim, projetado por Burle Marx, grande paisagista divisor de águas na arte do Paisagismo Brasileiro... onde ele as usa de forma encantadora!
Aqui está a Bismarckia bem destacada no projeto... não é linda?????
